2022 into 2023!!!!!!!

OKAY, I know it’s been awhile since I made a blog post but I’m back and ready to talk, new year same goals type deal. Last year was a world wind of adventures, events, triumphs and minimal failures surprisingly .

I was able to travel around the world doing what I love most inspiring educating people about diversifying tech and becoming human. My ideas and thought process landed me in Paris and in front of global leaders in tech, US Ambassador to France, Australian Ambassador and more. The connections I made in Paris allowed me to grow my business internationally and secure more speaking opportunities, like speaking for EWPN in Amsterdam!!!

Yes! I had the opportunity to speak for the European Women’s Payment Network Conference, my talk, “Becoming Human: Diversifying Tech Through Action”, made it to Europe. It was an exciting nerve wrecking experience as I poured my heart into my talk, and the passion within me came to the forefront. The audience was engaged and asked great questions on a topic there were not familiar with but enjoyed the challenge my talk brought. I cannot wait to speak more on this topic and educate people one becoming humanized. Corporate spaces need more human connections.

You would think my European trips would be my favs but NOPE, going back to Sedona was absolutely healing to my body and soul!! Since a child I have always traveled out west via a train or plane and I have grown to love and respect mother nature from going on these trips. When I went back to Arizona last February I felt like I was home amongst the mountains and desert. The dry heat healed my respiratory issues almost overnight, I was able to charge my crystals in the red rock dirt, and eat delicious healthy foods daily. I advise everyone to take a trip to Sedona and experience the healing power of one our earth vortexes.

2022 was a year of traveling to expose the world to me and vice versa! I even traveled for work for the first time in my tech career but I had a lesson hit me in the face regarding my career. As many people that are clapping for you it’s the same amount of folks not clapping for you and you do not understand WHY……. I gained an amazing mentor, getting recognition from people in other departments, had a mini documentary about my career created, gained new connections in the DEI space etc but none of that matters to people who rather see you lose than win. Decisions made by people closest to me put me into a mental spiral and I didn’t understand why such things were happening to me, until it was explained to me that not everyone wants to see me win in no arena. I won’t divulge too much information but understand I fight when I know something is unfair.

Whewwww what a year that has overflowed into this year but through it all I am GRATEFUL
